Journalist and TVNZ’s Sunday Show host Miriama Kamo wasn’t sure she would be able to have babies because of endometriosis. She has had seven pregnancies and only one baby survived. She feels that the reluctance to talk about miscarriage is tied up with the reluctance to talk about women’s health issues in general – menstruation, motherhood, miscarriage, menopause, but these are the reasons we are on this planet, so why should they be taboo?
